A fragment of ancient Roman glass, recovered from archaeological sites in Israel - is wrapped in an intricate nest of hand-wound sterling silver wire. The glass carries its age in layers of aqua and blue-green patina, iridescent and irreproducible. One side of the pendant reveals the luminous patina surface; the other, the sculptural silver wirework that holds it. Every piece is entirely one of a kind.
